Troy Shiffer Promoted to Shop Manager at ConQuip

Rancho Cordova, CA - September 22 - ConQuip announces the appointment of Troy Shiffer as Shop Manager. In this new role, all shop personnel, including shipping and receiving, will report to him. Shiffer will coordinate and oversee the assembly of custom-built coaters, laminators, dryers, winders, and production lines for the inline converting industry as well as maintenance. Shiffer reports to ConQuip's COO, Glen Langstaff.
ConQuip's extensive California facility provides a complimentary, domestic operation to its 262,000 SF facility opened in Wuxi, China only two years ago. The California operation can operate several lines simultaneously to serve customer's needs in addition to a wide range of custom parts fabrication. This counterpoint to the Chinese factory allows ConQuip to improve its world-wide responsiveness to customer needs, a core value in the company's Vision.
Shiffer has been a member of the ConQuip team for over seven years and brings a wealth of hands-on industry experience to his new role. "Troy is highly responsive to customers and has taken ownership of key projects at ConQuip. His initiatives have moved ConQuip's customers towards positive, long-term solutions," said Langstaff.
