Micro Adjuster

ConQuip, Inc. has developed the highest quality nip gap adjuster in the industry. Unique to ConQuip's Micro Nip Adjuster is the ability to adjust the gap under load.

Other gap adjusters simply use steel wedges sliding against each other. Our adjuster uses double row needle bearings between each precision ground tool steel wedge. This not only allows for adjustment under load, but it also preloads the leadscrew, eliminating backlash. The case is lubricated for long life and reduced maintenance.

Adjusters can be configured to fit into most applications and custom fit to match your specific mounting holes.

We can modify the slope of the wedge to provide the range and resolution best suited for your application. Coupled with our servo control system, resolution of 0.000010 inches (ten millionths) can be achieved.

You can have a complete closed loop control, by combining a thickness measuring system.
